I found a bundle of assorted old school exercise books in a local charity shop.

All but one are unused. They are a variety of styles (lined, lined with margin, squares) and colours and they all have useful info on the back, such as where the longest river in the world is, how many square miles the ocean basins are etc.

Winfield were books made for Woolworths. Two of them cost 6 pence decimal, which dates them not long after the change to decimal in 1971.

I hope you've taken that all in, as there'll be a test later!
